Blogging is harder than it looks

Life takes all kinds of unexpected twists and turns So, I have disappeared for a while. I am trying to find my way in the blogging world. While I was gone I have been creating lot's of art. I plan on sharing some techniques and fun projects. For now take  peek at my flickr photostream. I will fill you in on the details along the way.

My Books

These are my own designs. I have done a lot of other books and given them as gifts. I may have pictures of a couple of them that I will post some other time. There is a variation of projects here including an altered book, a journal, a tag book, a book made with three different size file folders and book with matching decorative metal tin to store it in. 

Finding My Inspiration

So much fun to learn new techniques from such great artists. A great way to get inspired or motivated to get your pictures together.

I take lots of pictures but then they sit on my computer (or even my camera). When I take a class it is sort of a jump start to get me thinking

about what to do with all those pictures I have.

These are books from classes and or workshops that I have taken.

A few of the books were classes by Cheryl Mezzetti and I also took a couple of classes by Karen Russell including a photography class that was full of great information.

And Then...... I started a blog!!!!

A friend recently asked me to make a gift for a co-worker. It has rekindled my creative side.

I have been following so many inspirational blogs for a long time now and I have decided that I would like to try and share my thoughts and inspirations too.

Grab a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) and I will share with you my love of paper crafts, altered books, my art journal, photography, cooking and I have even started painting (just a little). Of course along the way I will add some of  my life's little "and then's" that keep me wondering if I should be writing a blog or a book.
